Wilkerson Contracting, LLC is owned and operated by Fredaerick “Daerick” Wilkerson, a native of Dinwiddie Co. VA. Daerick developed a prowess in the various construction trades beginning in his early years working side-by-side with his grandfather as a child. With the wealth of knowledge obtained from his mentor, it’s no surprise that his once part-time high school job has become a passion.

Daerick was formally educated at Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing & Business Law in 2006; however, his interest in construction has never stopped. Just after receiving his B.S. degree, he also studied and became certified as a VA Class A Contractor. Soon after, he formally established the company you know today as Wilkerson Contracting, LLC.

Additionally, in his professional career he has also worked within the banking industry learning the nuances of construction financing & budgeting and home buying. Specifically, with a well-known local banking institution, Daerick has managed their construction portfolio for several years helping numerous families within the surrounding community complete their dream home. As his knack for real estate continues, he is also a recently licensed Realtor within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
